Do you have an interesting blog that you think would be appropriate for Beyond Guardian Leeds? Let us know!
Stuff we’re interested in: quirky, offbeat news items that are specific to Leeds and surrounding areas. Are you hosting an event that’s a little out of the mainstream? Let us know, and we’ll see what we can do about publicising it. Do you have a particular rant about something that you want to get to a wider readership? Point us at it and we’ll take a look. Want to write a guest post? Let us know!
We’re always on the lookout for new blogs in and about Leeds, so please let us know. We also accept press releases but any copy will be completely rewritten to fit in with our sense of the appropriate.
We don’t do: product or service reviews unless it’s something exceptional. If you send us something expecting a nice word or two be prepared to be told exactly what we think of it. If that’s ok, then email us for address details.

What happened to the Alternative Photo Competition for Leeds started by bgl a couple of months ago? Come to think of it, what happened to the Leeds City Council competition that it was an alternative to? Any idea?
We’re going to have a final push for entries next week, and then announce the winner on Dec 21st. The LCC one is over and The Leeds Citizen has more information on it: http://theleedscitizen.wordpress.com/2011/12/07/what-does-leeds-look-like-check-out-the-winners-of-the-councils-photo-competition/
Thanks for that!
It’s nice of Leeds City Council not to let me know they’d used one of my photos in it, but then what do you expect …..?!
Ian.
Ian, that is proper cheeky!
